When patching Adobe software with Patch Management, you receive: INSTALLATION ERROR 3
Solution_
We can provide support for Creative Cloud Applications by utilizing Adobe’s Remote Update Manager (RUM). The Adobe RUM exists on client machines where an administrator has deployed an App with the RUM tool bundled in that managed package.
The RUM is only available to administrator depending on their Creative Cloud subscription level with Adobe, such as Creative Cloud for enterprise.

The RUM tool will only be present on an endpoint if an administrator has previously deployed a Managed package with the option to Enable Remote Update manager.
The Enable Remote Update Manager option is checked by default when creating Managed packages.
