Description_
With the release of macOS Tahoe 26.4, Apple introduced an informational alert for applications that still use Rosetta 2. Rosetta enables an ARM-based Mac with Apple Silicon to run older, Intel-based apps.
This notification states that affected apps will not be compatible with future macOS releases (macOS 28). The Endpoint Security antivirus engine currently triggers this notification.
What does this mean for you?
- No immediate impact: Your current endpoint protection remains fully functional. This is a forward-looking warning and does not affect your system’s performance or security today.
- Development roadmap: Our engineering team is already working on the full transition to native Apple Silicon architecture. A fully compatible, native version will be available by the time macOS 28 is officially released, without any Rosetta dependencies.
Roadmap
| OS Version | Status | Action Required |
| macOS 26.4 (Current) | Full Support (via Rosetta) | None. You can safely ignore the system warning. |
| macOS 28 (Future) | Native Support | Automatic update before macOS 28 launch. |
