Symptoms_

High RAM and CPU usage on endpoints with Advanced EPDR/EDR Windows protection versions v8.00.21.0012v8.00.21.0013 and v8.00.21.0014 installed.

Solution_

A hotfix is available to resolve this issue.

To apply a hotfix on the affected endpoint:

  1. Download and save the hotfix file to the endpoint:
    HF-WGUA1796-psncnotifmgr.exe
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
  3. If prompted, to fully apply the hotfix, restart the endpoint.
