Introduction_

The agent and protection of Advanced EPDR/EDR products can be reinstalled remotely from the management console to solve certain issues. This operation requires restarting the computer after the protection reinstallation process. You can either choose to reinstall the protection immediately – which restarts your computer after one minute – or to delay the installation for a certain time. In this case, the computer’s protection is reinstalled and restarted according to the time scheduled by the administrator. For more information, see this article.

Symptoms_

The administrator configures to delay the protection reinstallation but the remote computer restarts immediately, ignoring the time scheduled from the Aether console. This issue only affects computers with no users logged in.

Solution_

The solution to this issue is to be included in future agent versions.
