The default modules are associated with a security product or main product. Without this association, the modules would not work.
As a general rule, when assigning module licenses from Cytomic Nexus, it is not necessary to specify the number of desired licenses. This is because, according to commercial policy, for most modules it is required to provide the same number of licenses as those assigned to the main product.
However, there may be some modules, such as Cytomic Encryption, where it is possible to select the desired number of licenses. For these modules, the number of licenses can be the same as or lower than the number of licenses of the main product, but never higher.
As mentioned previously, a module must be associated with a main product in order to function. Therefore, allowing a higher number of module licenses than main product licenses would result in module licenses that cannot be used.
If you attempt to provision a higher number of licenses than allowed, Cytomic Nexus will display an error message. To resolve this issue, you must select a number of licenses that is equal to or lower than the number of licenses of the main product
