Advanced EPDR/EDR products not shown in Windows Security Center after upgrade

Symptoms_

After upgrading the client software protection or certain versions of Windows, Advanced EPDR/EDR products with protection versions v8.00.21.xx and v8.0022.001x installed are not shown in Windows Security Center.

Solution_

A hotfix is available to resolve this issue.

To apply a hotfix on the affected endpoint:

  1. Download and save the hotfix file to the endpoint:
    HF-WGUA1731-psnwsc.exe
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
  3. If prompted, to fully apply the hotfix, restart the endpoint.
